Jamison Kovach
Dr. Kovach will work with faculty from the University of Lisbon’s Business Research Unit from mid-April to mid-July 2022. Her Fulbright project will establish a conceptual foundation for students to work in partnership with Portuguese industry to conduct Lean Six Sigma projects by providing students and industry representatives with training in the Lean Six Sigma methodology, as structured problem-solving approach. This Fulbright project is designed to enhance our understanding regarding the successful application of the Lean Six Sigma methodology within leading industries in Portugal. This will involve embedding graduate students within 2-3 Portuguese organizations to conduct Lean Six Sigma projects to address a pressing problem within the organization while the students receive project coaching/mentoring support form Dr. Kovach and colleagues at the host institution.
