Thomas Atzenhofer, CPA, joined HFTP in February 2004 and currently serves as Deputy CEO. He has over 20 years of association experience overseeing the operations as well as the finance and IT department of HFTP.

Thomas received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Victoria. Thomas spent 8 years in public accounting supplying tax, audit, and consulting services to a variety of clients including non-profits, financial institutions, governmental entities and cooperatives.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. His volunteer work has included serving on the audit committee of the Heart Failure Society of America from 2017 to 2019 and is currently serving on the Dean’s Advisory Board at the Conrad N Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership at the University of Houston.
